Introducing Stream Resourcing

Formed in 2000, STR’s original remit was to build a national recruitment agency, based in Portsmouth, specialising in Engineering and Manufacturing and creating a strong footprint on the South Coast.

Fast-forward 15 years and the STR Group has evolved into an international business with 11 unique brands based out of 5 offices and operating in over 60 countries. Throughout this period the original Engineering and Manufacturing business traded under the STR Group and continued to expand its client base and areas of operation.

With the STR Group now operating as the owner of a diverse range of brands, the logical decision was made to re-brand the original technical recruitment business.

Welcome to Stream Resourcing– STR Engineering and Manufacturing. We officially launched on August 3rd 2015 with a brand new website and a complete branding overhaul. We wanted Stream Resourcing to fully reflect what our business represents today, and our brand identity to truly represent the strong and successful division that we are.

So, what is the idea behind the logo and the brand?

Well, not only does Stream Resourcing describe who we are; STR Engineering and Manufacturing, but the name and logo mean so much more. This process was one of evolution and streamlining of our business, concentrating our focus within our market. We felt it vital that our brand developed with us and the industry, and also how we engage and connect with our clients and candidates. The new logo takes a fresher and brighter look; it defines a flow of energy and communication.

We have over 25 consultants, some of which have Mechanical Engineering or Electronics apprenticeships/degrees and are experienced in industry, this ensures we have first-hand knowledge and a technical foundation in our approach to recruitment. We wanted Stream Resourcing to show that we really are experts recruiting experts. This is why Stream Resourcing is our first brand to be fully developed in-house, from the name and logo creation to the design and build of the website. This allowed the staff who truly knows the industry to shape the look and feel of the brand.

By keeping STR within the name we retain a link to our existing brand and clients within the Engineering and Manufacturing industry, some of whom we have worked with since the inception of STR in 2000.

To put it simply; Stream Resourcing supply technical and management level candidates, on a permanent and contract basis, to companies who manufacture and/or design a product. When dealing with Stream Resourcing you can be assured of a high-quality service from one of our experts.
