Business Development / Technical Sales Engineer, Coventry, Competitive Salary Based on experience
A global organisation is seeking a Business Development / Sales Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in Coventry.
Working within an engineering / manufacturing environment the Business Development / Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting, developing and visiting new and existing customers, primarily across the UK and mainland Europe. As part of this the successful candidate will be expected to achieve account development through excellent customer service, coupled with the effective promotion of the company’s technological product advantages as well as its expanding global footprint.
Other responsibilities include: Being the commercial frontline for all customers, offering both administrative and product support; Commercially supporting and developing the existing customer base; Identifying, profiling and developing new customer prospective business in the region; Work to existing product pricing structures; Implement customer price reviews; Process and advise on the terms of the contracts; Periodically visit customers as part of the business development of them.
In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have proven experience technical sales / business development experience gained within an engineering / manufacturing environment, and as such have good experience giving customer support and relationship building. It would be advantageous to have any new business sales experience as it would be to have knowledge of mechanical engineering environments and products.
The position of Business Development / Technical Sales Engineer is commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Leamington Spa, Rugby, Warwick, Bedworth and other areas within Warwickshire and the West Midlands.
