Cyber Security Business Analyst

Are you a SC cleared Business Analyst looking for your next contract? Looking for a Leeds-based client who offers hybrid working and real flexibility?

My client, the Department for Work and Pensions are the largest public services department in the UK and are currently hiring in Leeds. Hybrid working is available and the contract has been deemed inside of IR35.

Important information: Those without live SC level Security Clearance will not be considered at this time.

Rate – £450 p/d Umbrella.

Duration – initially until 31/03/2023, with scope to be extended.

CV deadline – Monday 05/09 @12pm.

Interview process – 1 stage via MS Teams.

In short, the DWP are looking for a Business Analyst with strong GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) experience within cyber security.

Key aspects of the role:

The successful contractor will provide transparency of security controls, risks & compliance issues and map security requirements to organisational objectives. They will provide advice and guidance externally and internally, working with the Head of GRC and GRC Lead to design and build GRC deliverables, including:

* GRC Framework.
* Security Roles and Responsibility Matrix (GRC & Counter Roles).
* Risk Framework Methodology, Assessment Guidelines & Templates.
* Control Library Framework and Guidelines.
* Control KPI’s Guidelines and Framework.
* Compliance and Continuous Improvement Procedure.
* On-Boarding of New Services / Products Guidelines, Frameworks & Checklists.
* Control Assessment Procedure, Guidelines and Templates.
* Procedure for Root Cause, Correction and Corrective Actions.

Essential skills / experience required:

* Experienced in governance, risk & compliance program implementation & management.
* Strong understanding of cyber security controls, risks & the threat landscape to NHSD.
* Great communication & presentation skills, both written & oral.
* Strong experience of understanding and utilisation of industry risk frameworks e.g., ISO2700x, NIST-CSF, NCSC CAF, OWASP.
