Field Sales Engineer (Machine tooling)
Operating in Northern England (Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds)
Permanent – £40,000 + £5,000 Bonus
My client is a leading name in the tooling industry, they operate globally, and their products are trusted by major engineering brands to deliver accuracy on time, every time.
Due to growth they are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to engage with new and existing clients in the northern part of the UK to facilitate sales of new products and meet agreed sales targets.
Responsibilities of the role:
-In charge of engaging assigned customers for selling tooling and related products/services.
-Develop the customer relation for assigned accounts in order to understand the key decision makers and decision process for purchasing.
-Manages the regional opportunity pipeline in order to maximize revenue.
-Achieve revenue targets
-Identify new possible customers for fuelling future growth in partnership with sales team.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
-Robust experience in a sales role in the machining or tooling industry
-Negotiation and sales skills
-Technical problem understanding
-Good interpersonal and communication skills
-Experience of sales with end customers (Distribution and OEMs)
-Working as part of virtual team
-Good organisation skills
-Work phone, laptop or tablet provided
