Production Controller Supervisor

Production Controller Supervisor – South East London- Permanent – £35,000-£40,000 DOE

A well-established engineering organisation are seeking to employ a Production Controller Supervisor to join their South East London based production facility.

In this role you will supervise the Production Control team, within the Materials Department, to ensure optimum delivery of materials into the production lines adhere to the issued ASP. At the same time minimizing and controlling the materials and production orders in all production lines while observing MRP requirements, and all relevant procedures.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Monitor weekly the SAP stock record for materials, ensuring full accuracy. Additionally ensure transactions occur in a timely manner. Investigate errors in the SAP WM/PP modules to ensure data quality is maintained
* Monitor and Report on-time release of Production /Transfer Orders in line with the master production schedule for all manufactured products.
* Ensure on-time picking of Production /Transfer Orders in line with the master production schedule – Monitor status regularly.
* Ensure accurate transaction of materials from stores WM locations onto supply areas for all shop floor locations, whilst updating and optimizing all master data.
* Identify and suggest improvements to the Production Control team processes and systems to focus on value adding activity.
* Participate in regular departmental meetings and engage closely the Call Off Team and Stores Team to optimize our performance.

In order to apply for this position, you will be NVQ Level 3 Qualified or equivalent and have previous experience in a similar role. You will also have a strong knowledge of SAP and MS office.
