Senior Design Engineer- Avionics

SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER – ELECTRONICS / AVIONICS

Stream Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer for one of our clients based in Dorset.

In order to be consider, you will need the following skills, experience and qualifications:

* HND or HNC Or OND or ONC or degree educated within electronics or avionic engineering
* Significant experience within a design role within electronic or avionics
* Demonstrable knowledge of CATIA, Solidworks or AutoCAD
* Experience of designing circuitry, electrical assemblies and harnesses.
* Experience of working within aerospace or aviation design offices

Ideally you will have knowledge of EASA, JAA and FAA, whoever, this is not essential and can be trained on the job.

Our client is a leading aerospace company, who designs and manufactures equipment for aircraft that are used around the world and predominantly within defence markets. Your role will be designing circuit layouts and diagrams, electrical assemblies, systems and harnesses. Reporting to the Principal Design Engineer, you will be one of a number of design engineers working in the department.

The location for this role is based in Dorset, close to the Hampshire border and close to the South Coast. It is easily commutable from Bournemouth, Southampton, Poole, Salisbury and Ringwood.

Salary for this position is not advertised due to out clients request but can be disclosed upon application. The salary is competitive and within market ranges for the industry and position.
